Featuring the FUDO Sta-Stuk Kona Cut Needle Eye hook - a revolutionary, patented big-game design (US Patent #10405529) created by Sam Peters of Release Marine. Built on a precision-crafted FUDO stainless hook, the Sta-Stuk uses a unique system of sleeves and welded rings that remain intact on the strike, then separate at a specific pressure. This shortens the effective shank length during the fight, dramatically reducing rotational torque and the risk of pulled hooks.

Proven worldwide in premier marlin fisheries such as Cape Verde, Costa Rica, and the U.S., Sta-Stuk hooks have delivered hookup-to-release ratios exceeding 75% on hundreds of recorded blue marlin bites.

Our semi-stiff rigs are crafted from 920 lb stainless (49-strand) 7x7 cable, double-spun (excluding 9/0) for exceptional durability and rigidity. Each connection is sealed with clear 3:1 adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubing, allowing you to visually inspect your crimps while protecting against chafing and corrosion. The slightly stiffer profile improves bait tracking and hook presentation, while the longer overall rig length allows for anglers to down size hooks if preferred.
