Do you use Fluor and if so what lb test

Answer:

All of our ballyhoo rigs are pre-rigged on 100# mono. The only rig currently made with fluorocarbon is our Dink Bait Circle Hook rigs. They are rigged on 50 and 60# Diamond Fluorocarbon leader.

Can I get the game changer rigged for ballyhoo ?

While our trolling lures are designed to be pulled "naked" (without dead bait) we have had a number of people add ballyhoo to them and have success. Do you typically run the spreader bars on the riggers or flats?

Answer:

Spreader bars can be run in either position. Some boats will run spreader bars on every position. However, most people run a spreader bar from a flat line when pulling lures in other locations. Play around with location and see where you personally are getting the best results. No hard and fast rules when it comes to this, we've had success anywhere from a flat line, to the shotgun.

are you saying that this only comes rigged with a single hook set? wouldnt a double hook set be better?

Currently the Hollow Point is offered with a single hook-set, however we can easily rig it on a double hook-set if you prefer. Simply e-mail us at Info@fathomoffshore.com and we can take care of it no problem.

These spreader bars are intended to be pulled on the surface. If you are looking for a bulb squid style lure that can be pulled subsurface, check out the lead weighted Wahoo Chain.

Do all of the squids on the bar come pre rigged with hooks?
